A Watchtower is a small slot Facility in State of Decay 2. It provides active defense against any zombies near or approaching the base.

NPC survivors don't need ammo to fire their weapons and can even be empty, making it highly beneficial to equip them with the best guns available, such as the M99X1 Timberwolf sniper rifle.

During Sieges, active guards will assist from atop the Watchtower, providing critical defense.

Suppressors are recommended on their weapons to prevent attracting more zombies, especially on higher difficulty levels, where noise can quickly escalate into overwhelming base attacks.
