Watch Tower is featured in State of Decay.

The Watchtower is a facility that can be built to allow a survivor to be on watch and protect the Home Sites in State of Decay. Further upgrade allows for increased XP from Shooting and Ammo income by training neighboring survivors.

Notes[]
- Some Watchtowers are pre-built into certain Home Sites (e.g., the treehouse at the Savini Residence), while others must be constructed using materials and influence.
- Some Watchtowers, such as those at Snyder Trucking Warehouse and McReady Farmhouse, may suffer from a bug preventing survivors from manning them. This bug often resolves itself automatically. Logging out to the main menu and back in usually fixes it. Traveling far from the base to unload NPCs and then returning can also reset their AI behavior.
- Survivors on guard duty with a shotgun may sometimes fail to complete their reload animation, leaving them unable to fight off zombies.
- Shooting platforms are visible outside the County Court House, but The Law enclave does not use them and behaves like any other generic enclave. Similarly, at The Grange, the player helps build a Watchtower through a mission, but the NPCs do not actively use it.
