Summary

Rifles are terrific at long range. More than one zombie can be lined up in a single shot. That’s pretty handy.

But they have a pretty slow rate of fire, and if zombies get up close and personal the best option is to switch to a melee weapon. Rifles can be improved with a suppressor at the base. Scoped rifles do have a zoom feature by clicking the left analog stick.
