The Military SUV is a vehicle introduced in State of Decay by the YOSE edition, available in Storymode, Lifeline, and Breakdown DLCs.

It can commonly be found throughout the map, more often in Danforth.

Performance[]

A solid choice alongside the Military Pickup, being similar in terms of durability, acceleration and top speed.

This SUV variant is quicker, but harder to control due to the extra power and soft suspension causing it to bounce excessively when launching from a stop. It's an excellent choice to explore both on and off road, being slightly slower than a Police Cruiser, but with softer suspension to help navigate rough terrain. It only has four seats as opposed to the six of the Military Pickup, but this a trade-off that can be overlooked.

It is equally adept at running down hordes as the closest rival, the Military Pickup. Both are very tough and take many hits from zombies and the environment before becoming damaged. This makes deciding which one to use a matter of preference.

Trivia[]

  • The vehicle is based off the 3rd generation Chevy Tahoe.
  • It is always black, with dark green tinted windows and no insignias, plates, or anything distinctive.
  • It suffers from the same bugs as the SUV (delay in loading wheel texture and odd doors opening animations).
  • The vehicles doors will become visually damaged on both sides, even if only one side of the car receives damage.
