The G36 is a 5.56 Assault Rifle introduced in the Breakdown DLC of State of Decay.

Design

The G36 is based on the real life Heckler & Koch G36V/E. A modern integrated sight assault rifle which is known for it's durability.

State Of Decay

The in-game model features a gray finish, black polymer handguard, black folding stock, full-size barrel, 30-rounds G36-pattern magazine, 3-position safety system, integrated G36E/V 1.5X sight and a basic flash hider.

• It cost 96 Influence points to retrieve this weapon after being stored in the Supply Locker.
• Can be found in the Supply Locker after requesting a 200 Influence points Weapons Air Drop in the Lifeline DLC.
• Can be found inside Delivery Trucks on the Danforth map in the Lifeline DLC.

Trivia

• This weapon alongside some other weapons have a bugged low-res texture, this is a recorrent problem in State of Decay: Year One digital copies. The PC version of State of Decay have a "fix" for this issue and features external bugfixes and mods to the model and can have it's standard texture restored and upsized in high-definition.
• This weapon features a "wrong" firing pattern for it's in-game firing selector, the in-game model is modeled after the HK 3-position selector (SAFE-SEMI-AUTO), but it features the HK 4-position selector firing pattern (SAFE-SEMI-3RB-AUTO).
