The ACR is based on a variant of the Adaptive Combat Rifle, manufactured under license by Remington (military rifles) and Bushmaster (semiautomatic civilian rifles) and chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO. Its modular construction offers high adaptability with multiple barrel lengths allowing configuration for different mission profiles. However, its high cost, reliability issues and a recall by the manufacturer have slowed demand in the civilian market for semi-auto variants.
This is Sergeant Erik Tan 's default firearm in the storyline.
